ESTATE AGENT

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone.

Today, I would like to share my experience on my past as part time Estate Agent.

Basically, what is Estate Agent?

An estate agent is a person or business that arranges the selling, renting, or management of properties and other buildings. An agent that specialises in renting is often called a letting or management agent.

Based on my resume, which is in my previous post, I used to work at Esprit Estate Agent and my boss that time is Joyce Low. At first, I will prefer to work only at the office, but where time goes by, I more prefer to go outside, driving here and there to meet the client from other organizations.

This job required a full speed action, it might be because of my former boss, she is a perfect person who I admire. Why do I said that? She can handle so many things at the same time, she is the most excellent person at doing multi-tasking job. Although she is busy with her own work, she does not forget her family, especially her children.

Sometime, I is needed to fetch her child from the nursery and send to their grandparent's house. Therefore, I get used to talk and improve my English because, I need to talk to them in English.

Same goes when I met the client, some client prefer to speak and negotiate in English. But, I still try to speak and reply to all their question, rather than I being silent and get the client angry from my rudeness.

My task during my job is I need to visit any warehouse that vacant, follow my boss order because all the warehouse that vacant will need to advertise it online. I will measure if inch of the warehouse and make a list. At the same time, based on the list also, I need to make a slide as a preparation if any new client are looking for a vacant warehouse.
