What is Records Management?

What are Records?

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone.

I would like to share something about what I have been learn during this past 2 years in my degree's program which is Records Management.

When I said Records, people will start to think what is the syllabus or the program is about?

So, here I will try to explain as simple as I can to let you understand in a simple way.

Records is a document regardless of form, medium created, received, maintained and used by organization either government or private sector, in the transaction of business of which it provides evidence. (Lecture Notes, 2018)

In other words, record is an evidence of the transaction that occur for all sort of business. This record can help to provide a prove to any circumstance in the future.

This is one of my sources that I will refer or anything that I need to find.
